The design inspiration for Saffron comes from the iconic Rockefeller Centre in New York City. The soaring mass of the building is cut back in a series of steps as it rises to a height of around 155 metres.
External cladding is aluminium, glass and concrete with a strong reliance on durable and timeless materials such as granite and stone.
Saffron's front entrance lobby is on Albert Street with eight-metre high marble walls and features designer chandeliers. the building will be fully secured by a state of the art video surveillance system and access to the building is controlled by an electronic proximity card system controlling access to lifts, entrances and apartments, there will be three live in managers on site on level 3.
All lift lobbies have marble floors and marble walls. There are no corridors, the exclusive nature of the design results in a small communal floor plate at each level; this allows apartment entry direct from every floor lift lobby.
The car parking will be facilitated by state of the art multi-level electronic parking stacker. Residents will command the stacker to retrieve their cars from the St Patrick’s Square entrance. (Delivery time is approximately 80 seconds).
